I’ve been away quite some time. I know.
This is by no means a come back, but I did get a whim of creativity, thanks to the blog Paper Fashion run by the incredible Katie Rodgers. Her watercolor illustrations are flawless and completely inspired me to dig out my own watercolor palette.
I also think I figured out how to make .gifs.
I need to stop doing these things right before midterms/finals.
Every time!

So I’ve neglected my poor tumblr once again…
I need to get over the fact that I’m probably never going to post on this regularly, which is really unfortunate.
However, I just started a collab tumblr with the other wonderful officers of UCD Mixtape Society, which will be updated on a much more regular basis.

Long weekend.
New hair. {Blue section with purple ends if you wondering}
Catching up on Supernatural.
Lazy update.
Deal. With. It.

I Am A Lying Liar Who Lies.

At least I am brave enough to admit that.

Because I can’t seem to get my sh*t together, I leave you with a simple fractal.

Read on for random ramblings…

The End of Winter Break Approaches meaning that…
Winter [Quarter] is Coming.
I can’t say that I’m excited to say goodbye to restful nights and relaxing days in which the only thing on my to do list is craft, but it will be nice to have some kind of structure back in my life.
 I just need to finish a couple of room decoration projects before tmrw and I’ll be ready to start the quarter. {That’s of course if you excluded shopping for textbooks, figuring out where my  classes are, deciding my work schedule and remembering to actually wake up to  my alarm clock}

New Year’s Resolutions (in no particular order)
1. Stop overbooking myself
2. Stay organized
3. Draw everyday
4. Dress like I’m actually in my 20s, which I am now (weird)
5. Update this blog on a more regular basis
6. Don’t be a hermit
7. Dye my hair purple when the blue fades out
8. Read at least 10 books in 2012, not including ones for classes (setting the bar low this time)
9. Get SHIT done!
10. Have a rockin’ 2012!

So it should be obvious…
… just how much a adore Black Milk Clothing, but I just want to reiterate.
I got my [technically] fifth piece of BM today, the magical Cloud Dress.

I say “technically” since I decided to trade my much-too-large Inferno Dress with another cult follower. I can’t thank her enough for doing it and I hope she enjoys the dress as much as I’m enjoying mine. I’m just praying that my post office doesn’t make a liar of me and delivers the Inferno Dress to her in a timely manner.

Mission: Black Milk #3
Targets Acquired
Great Wave Leggings and Inferno Dress.
Now all I need is a Cloud Dress and Moonwalker Swimsuit to complete the Earth, Wind, Fire and Water theme…

Unfortunately, the inferno dress doesn’t quite fit the way I want, seeing as I ordered a large and I am more of a medium, but I couldn’t pass up the beauty. I might return it for a 3D Moon Man Swim, but I’ll probably end up keeping it and just try to style it carefully.

In an attempt to master victory rolls this morning…

I decided to emulate the fabulous Paloma Faith, yet again. Her power-house vocals amaze me, while her general quirkiness make me want to be her best friend. I especially enjoy her song “Stone Cold Sober”, mostly because of how well the lyrics describe my own personality. While I won’t tell you exactly how many times I’ve played the song in the last couple of days, I will admit to putting it on a loop at regular intervals.

I can be wilder than the wind, 190 mph. I’m in a whole other dimension dancing doubles on the floor. Some think I’m crazy, a little bit hazing, but I’m STONE COLD SOBER.

Been Listening to A Lot of Imelda May and Rockabilly Lately…
which inspired my transformation this morning from a regular 21st century college student into a cat-eyed, red-lipped, high-heeled pin-up in a vintage Betsey Johnson body con dress. I even had time to curl my hair and style it into victory rolls.
I might start dedicating one day each week to dressing for another decade just to spice things up a bit. I’m thinking either 90s or 20s for next week.
